What is Musical Monday?
Now in its 5th season, Musical Monday is an impromptu evening of cabaret style musical theater starring KC's top performers. It is produced 6 times a year at the The Off Center Theatre in Crown Center. Monday is the traditional day off in the theatre world and MTH uses it to bring together both theater performers and theater lovers in a fun, festive, casual environment.

Each Musical Monday has 5 "headliners" who perform throughout the evening. We also highlight a handful of tunes from our featured musical of the evening, while Executive Director George Harter offers insight and interesting anecdotes about that musical's history and background.

To add to the excitement, there is a “lottery system” which offers literally anyone a chance to sing ONE song that night. This is an incredible opportunity for emerging artists to showcase their talents before a receptive audience, while being backed by professional musicians.

Musical Monday is hosted by Tim Scott and features Jeremy Watson at the piano, and regularly showcases bass, drums, and guitar.

Admission
In 2013 single tickets for Musical Monday are $20 for the general public. You can get an incredible discount if you become an MTH Subscriber and add Musical Mondays to your subscription. MORE INFO...

Singers
For consideration to be a Guest Singer at Musical Monday please submit a name and resume to: musicalmonday@gmail.com.

7-10 days prior to Musical Monday, MTH will conduct a random Lottery and select 3-5 additional people who will be invited to sing. Singers who are selected will be contacted via email and asked to confirm. Please bring your sheet music in the appropriate key. Thanks for your support and we hope to see you soon!
