"Beautifully choreographed and flawlessly arranged, the trip was an experience I shall never forget. All thanks to your expertise. I can't say enough for the choice of theater shows, restaurants and personal tours. The only thing you couldn't control were the brief showers, but even they did nothing to dampen our spirits. The people in the party were a joy to be with and the size of the group made it all the more personal."

"I know that I will be reliving this trip for a long time."

WEDNESDAY, June 4th: MTH will arrange your early flight to New York LaGuardia. You will be met upon arrival and provided transportation to the charming Algonquin Hotel on West 44th Street in mid-town Manhattan. Here, you will be steeped in the history of the American theater, New York City and the writers of the Algonquin Round Table. There’s nothing in New York City like the Algonquin lobby for getting together and making new friends after theater.

At 6:30 PM our first evening in New York will feature a cocktail reception and dinner in the Slocum Room at the HARVARD CLUB with your host, radio personality and musical historian, George Harter.

THURSDAY, June 5th: This morning you will board a private coach with George Harter as your guide, for the ALL NEW YORK HISTORY TOUR. Highlights include: Central Park, Lincoln Center, Battery Park, Greenwich Village, The Bowery, Brooklyn Bridge, Broadway & 42nd Street, Wall Street, Battery Park and much more. We will make several stops during our trip for a closer look at key points in Manhattan, including the site of the World Trade Center.

Tonight we will gather for a short pre-show talk from George about CURTAINS, the musical comedy wrapped in a murder mystery. This is a good old-fashioned show and contains the last score written by Kander & Ebb. The Al Hirschfeld Theatre is an easy walk from the hotel.

FRIDAY, June 6th: Today is left free for museums, shopping, special interest sightseeing and exploring.

This evening we will gather at SARDI'S in the theater district, with its famous cariactures of Broadway greats past and present, for dinner before our show tonight. Then we have orchestra seats for YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, the spectacular new Mel Brooks musical starring Roger Bart, Megan Mullally, Sutton Foster, and Andrea Martin, and sure to sweep the Tony Awards.

SATURDAY, June 7th: Today is free to enjoy New York in your own way. Tonight there will be a farewell dinner party at the Rainbow Room on the 65th floor of Rockefeller Center featuring incredible views of Manhattan as night falls. Theater tonight is a new play by David Mamet: NOVEMBER, starring the hilarious Nathan Lane. This is a political comedy about a fictitious incumbent President trying to “hold it together” on election night as a few choice events from his past come to light.
